8/22/21 Acting Improv Workshop

Joesph started the class with introductions and the question of the day which was if you could be any animal what would you like to be. Then we started with a warm-up to get our brains ready by listing 5 things that had a certain letter. Much harder than it sounds! Some of the letters included V, Y, and B. After that, we played an oracle game where the audience could ask any questions and the three volunteers who were the oracle had to answer using one word at a time. Questions ranged from "Can we live without bees?" to "Are unicorns real?" Lastly, we played a game called 60, 30, 15, 5. Participants had to act out a scene in 60 seconds and then try to condense it to 30 seconds, 15 seconds, and then finally 5 seconds. This workshop was a huge success and the kids had a ton of fun!
